Meet the Tack Solutions' Team!
Sheila (Owner)
Sheila has been the owner of Tack Solutions since July of 2023. With an extensive background in sales, being the Vice President of Sales for Hudson Seating and Mobility and a top sales person for for 20+ years, she decided to combine her knack for business with her love of horses.
"Hi! My name is Sheila and I own Tack Solutions. I started riding horses with my daughter in 2009. We started just taking lessons, and shortly after that we got the bug for competing in the Arabian Horse World. Since then, we have accumulated much knowledge and experience regarding the equestrian industry. I have mainly shown Western Pleasure, and have branched out into the Ranch Riding Arena in recent years as well. A fun fact about me is that I love music and concerts, my favorite band being Motley Crue.
My favorite part about working at Tack Solutions is helping customers find the products they need in-store, as well as finding new and exciting products behind the scenes. I love to keep the inventory fresh and up-to-trend, meeting with brand reps, and making sure we have the products our customers want and need!"
Dakota (Manager and Sales Associate)
Dakota has been with Tack Solutions since before our new ownership in 2023! Her most important job is that she carries out our consignment process. She is the one who researches and prices items & saddles!
"Hi, my name is Dakota, and I’ve been part of the Tack Solutions team since September 2022. My journey with horses began over 6 years ago when I started working at a horse rescue and therapy center, where I fell in love with the equestrian world. Over the past few years, I’ve learned to ride in both English and Western styles. A fun fact about me is that I’m part of Oasis Winter Guard and also coach at a local high school, combining my passion for performing arts and mentoring. Another fun fact is that my horse’s name is also Dakota! He became mine before I realized we shared the same name (I promise, I didn’t name him!).
My favorite part of working at Tack Solutions is helping people find the perfect saddle and working on consignments. It’s incredibly rewarding to connect riders with the right gear and equipment."
Jenna (Social Media/Marketing Manager & Sales Associate)
Jenna has been with Tack Solutions since July of 2023! Along with being a sales associate, one of her main jobs is managing our social media, marketing saddles, and thinking of fun new ways to promote products!
"Hello, my name is Jenna and I have worked at Tack Solutions since 2023. I started riding horses with my mom in 2009, and grew to love riding and everything about horses. I moved onto competing shortly after, starting with Western Pleasure. As a Youth rider, I explored various disciplines such as Hunter Pleasure and Saddle Seat - landing on Western Pleasure as my main focus. Since 2018, my focus has been in the Working Western arena (Reining and Ranch Riding) as well as continuing to show in the Western Pleasure Division. I show Arabians and Half Arabians! A fun fact about me is that I love watching true crime, and I have a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology!
My favorite part of working at Tack Solutions, besides helping customers find the perfect product, is merchandising in the store and creating digital content for the store's social media! Creating themed displays and unique social media posts is super fun."
Sydney (Sales Associate)
Sydney has worked at Tack Solutions since mid 2024! Her main jobs are helping customers on the floor, organizing, putting out new inventory, etc.
"Hello my name is Sydney. I started working at Tack Solutions in June of 2024. My love for horses started when I would spend my summers growing up in North Dakota riding on my families farm. I grew up dancing full time and decided to leave my studio in 2021 to pursue my love for horses. Since then I have spent my time taking lessons and getting as much exposure to the equestrian world as I can. A fun fact about me is I have a Belgian Malinois that I love to do sports with such as dock diving, scent trials, and bite work.
My favorite part about working at Tack Solutions is being surrounded by coworkers and customers who are always willing to support and lift each other up."
Elke (Sales Associate)
Elke has worked part-time at Tack Solutions since March 2024! Her main jobs are helping customers on the floor, organizing, putting out new inventory, etc.
"Hi my name is Elke! I've been working for Tack Solutions since March of 2024. I've been around horses since I was 9 and it was all in the Hunter/Jumper world. I'd been showing in Cali and local shows like Four Reel Farm since I was 12 on my OTTB in the jumpers and loved every second! We dabbled a bit in the hunters at schooling shows, but we definitely both preferred the jumpers. I made the decision to sell him and move into the reining world in July of 2023. I absolutely love reining and cannot WAIT to get into the show ring!! A fun fact about me is I am bilingual, I speak one of the dialects from South Africa fluently (where my family is from). Another fun fact is that while I've only shown up to the .90m in the jumper ring, I've coursed 3'3 at home, while my highest jump being at 3'9!
My favorite part about working for Tack Solutions is getting to interact with people who share the same passion as me, and of course seeing all the super cute stuff we carry! I love the feeling of helping out new riders find the perfect stuff, even seeing old barn friends come in and being able to catch up while helping them find what they need."
